Abstract
Rumah sakit merupakan salah satu instansi pelayanan kesehatan yang ada dalam sistem rantai rujukan yang meliputi 3 asuhan atau pelayanan yaitu asuhan medis, asuhan keperawatan dan asuhan gizi. Pelayanan gizi rumah sakit salah satu kegiatannya yaitu menyelenggarakan makanan yang bertujuan memberikan makanan sekaligus terapi yang disesuaikan dengan penyakit sehingga membantu upaya penyembuhan. Makanan merupakan kebutuhan yang utama bagi manusia untuk memperoleh energi, protein yang digunakan tubuh untuk mengganti dan memperbaiki sel yang rusak. Untuk itu perlu pola penentuan dukungan gizi yang adekuat yaitu dengan penilaian status gizi individu. Salah satu cara penilaian status gizi adalah antropometri. Berat badan merupakan ukuran antropometri yang dapat digunakan untuk melihat laju pertumbuhan fisik maupun status gizi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan tingkat kecukupan energi dan protein dengan perubahan berat badan selama dirawat pada pasien demam thypoid. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian penjelasan (explanatory research)dengan metode survei. Rancangan penelitian ini adalah cross sectional. Populasi yang diambil adalah penderita demam thypoid yang baru menjalani rawat inap di rumah sakit Roemani. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara purposive sampling dengan kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi. Pengolahan data dilakukan dengan program Nutrsoft dan SPSS for windows versi 11.5. Analisis data berupa analisis deskriptif dan analisis bivariat dengan menggunakan uji statistik korelasi Pearson Product Moment. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat kecukupan energi dan protein sebagian sampel termasuk dalam kategori sedang, rata-rata konsumsi energi dan protein tiap hari meningkat, perubahan berat badan selama dirawat sebagian besar sampel naik. Ada hubungan antara tingkat kecukupan energi dan protein dengan perubahan berat badan (p_value < 0,05). Saran yang dapat diberikan bagi pihak rumah sakit adalah supaya mengadakan penyuluhan secara berkala tentang asupan zat gizi selama dirawat, selalu memonitor status gizi dengan melakukan pengukuran antropometri (BB, TB). Service of nutrition in hospital one of its activity that is carry out the food which aim to give the food at one blow therapy which is adapted for a disease so that assist the healing effort. Food represent the prima facie requirement for human being to obtain for the energy, protein that used by a body to change and improve, repair the damage cell. For that need the pattern of nutrition support which strength that is with the individual nutritionstatus assesment. One of way of assesment of nutrition state assesment is by using the antropometri. The weight is represent the size measure of antropometri which can be used to see the growth rate of physical and also nutrition state. The intention of this research is to know the relation energy and protein the sufficiency grade of with the weight change during taking lodge care of patient of thypoid fever. This research represent the clarification research (explanatory research) with the survey method. This research is device cross sectional. Population taken is new fever thypoid patient that have been take lodge care on the Roemani hospital. The sampel intake is conducted by purposive sampling with the inclusive and exlusive criterion. Data processing is by Nutrsoft and SPSS for windows versi 11.5 program. Data analysis in the form of descriptive analysis and the bivariate analyse by statistical test of Pearso Product Moment. The result of research indicate that the level of energy and protein sufficiency of some of sampel is include in middle category, mean the energy and protein consume is mount at every day, the weight change during taken care of most sampel going up. There is a relation between energy and protein sufficiency grade of with the weight heavy change (p_value < 0,05). The suggestion which can be given for the hospital is effort perform the periodical counselling nutrition accomplishment, always monitoring of the nutrition status by conducting the antropometri measurement (BB, TB).
