Abstract
Gagal tumbuh merupakan suatu kejadian yang sangat umum terjadi pada anak usia 4 bulan yang berlanjut sampai usia 2 tahun, dan paling sering dijumpai setelah umur 6-12 bulan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi gagal tumbuh pada bayi usia 4-12 bulan meliputi praktik pemberian prelaktal, ASI Eksklusif, MP-ASI, konsumsi energi dan protein, penyapihan, pendapatan keluarga, pendidikan ibu, dan infeksi. Peneltian ini merupakan penelitian observasional dengan disain kasus kontrol. Populasi adalah senmua bayi usia 4-12 bulan di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Mranggen III. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 84 bayi terbagi atas kelompok kasus dan kontrol masing-masing 42 bayi. data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner melalui wawancara dan pengukuran langsung menggunakan timbangan bayi. pengolaha data dengan [program nutrsoft, excell dan SPSS 11,5. Analisis data berupa analisis univariat dan bivariat menggunakan uji chi square. hasil penelitian menunjukkan bayi yang mendapat prelaktal 73,8%(kasus)dan 71,4% (konytol), tidak mendapat ASI Eksklusif 90,5%(kasus)dan 88,1% (kontrol), MP-ASI tidak sesuai 85,7% (kasus) dan 64,3% (kontrol), energi tidak cukup 35,7% (kasus) dan 45,2% (kontrol), protein tidak cukup 38,1% (kasus) dan 38,1 %(kontrol), bayi yang disapih 14,3% (kaus) dan 21,4% (kontrol), keluarga miskin 52,4% (kasus) dan 33,3 % (kontrol), ibu berpendidikan dasar 47,6% (kasus) dan 28,6% (kontrol), bayi infeksi 73,8% (kasus) dan 50% (kontrol). Secara statistik pemberian MP_ASI (p=0,023)dan infeksi (p=0,025) mempengaruhi kejadian ggal tumbuh. Disarankan, Posyandu dan penyuluhan tentng bayi ditingkatkan. Kata Kunci: faktor-faktor, gagal tumbuh, bayi THE DETERMINANT FACTORS ON INFANT GROPWTH FALTERING (A STUDY IN INFANT AGED 4-12 MONTHS AT HEALTH CARE CENTER MRANGGEN III, DEMAK) 2005 Growth faltering was common happened in infant aged 4-12 months. The aim is to know factors influenced infant growth faltering aged 4-12 months consists of practise or provision prelacteal, exclusive breast milk, weaning food, total energy and protein consumtion, weaning, family income, mother's education and infection. This is an observasional research use case control design. The population are babies aged 4-12 months in working area Health Care Center Mranggen III. Total sample 84 babies, consist of case and control groups which total each groups are 42 babies. Data were obtained by questionare with interview methode and measured with baby scale. The data analyze were using nutrsoft, excel and SPSS 11.5 for windows. Data analyze are univariat (distribution table) and bivariat using chi-square test. The results are babies have got prelaktal 73.8%(case) and 71.4% (control), babies haven't got exclusif breast milk 90.5% (case) and 88.1% (control), babies have got no match weaning food 85.7% (case) and 64.3% (control), total energy consumption that little 35.7% (cser) angg 45.2 % (cobntrol). total protein that little 38.1% (case) and 38.1% (control). babies have weaning 14.3% (case) 21,4% (control), poor family 52,4% (case) and 33.3% (control), mothers which base educated 47.6% (case) 28.6% (control), babies have got infection 73,8% (case) 50% (control). According to statistic analyze there is influence both weaning food (p=0,023) and infection (p=0,025) to growth faltering but others determinants no influences.
