Abstract

ABSTRACT Nurse became the majority staff in hospital and it has an importand role in defines the quality of servicingin a hospital. The continously of their existency also shows that they are really necessary and needed. Consider with their role, it really needs to keep and create a good atmosphere in their work environment. Considering the necessity of the nurse presensed and about their late comer attedance in Surakarta Panti Waluyo hospitaL This thesis will analys those in relation with the atmosphere of their work environment. Based on Litwin Meyer's book state that work atmosphere consisted of 6 components that is : Conformity, Responsibility, Standard Reward Clarity and Team Spirit. Spesifically, this research aims to gain description of the nurse's work contentment rate and of the work atmosphere in Panti Waluyo Hospital. This research is discriptive analysis research and cross sectional in manner. Result : According to stanfivc technical analysis indicated that majority of respondent (40,24 %) felt satisfied enuogh with the work atmosphere in Surakarta Panti Waluyo hospital. From the result of corelation analysis pearson, achieved : 5 components of work atmosphere have significant corelation against work contentment of nurse in Surakarta Panti Waluyo hospital and one component of work contentment. That is responsibility has no significant corelation against work contentment. Suggestion for the research is the necessity of attempts to minimalize gap of the six work contentment components that it can maximalize work contentment of nurse in Surakarta Panti Waluyo hospital that finally it will increase work Productivity. ABSTRAKSI Perawat merupalcan tenaga mayoritas dan mempunyai peran yang menentukan baik bundcnya kualitas pelayanan di Rumah Salcit (RS), juga keberadaannya yang terus menerus menunjukkan bahwa mereka benar-benar sangat diperlukan. Sesuai dengan peran tersebut, maka kepuasan kerja perawat harus senantiasa dijaga dan salah satu faktor yang menentukan kepuasan kerja adalah suasana kerja. Mengingat peran tersebut dan cukup tingginya keterlarnbatan hadir serta absensi perawat di rumah sakit Panti Waluyo, maka akan dilakukan analisis hubungan suasana kcrja yang tcrdiri dad 6 komponcn scsuai pendapat Litwin Meyer yaitu : kcscsuaian perasaan, tanggungjawab, peraturan/kebijakan, penglargaan, keterbukaan dan kerjasama tim. Secara khusus penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh gambaran tingkat kepuasan kerja perawat serta gambaran suasana kerja di Rumah Salcit Panti Waluyo. PewBrian ini mcrupakan penclitian dcslcriptif analitis dan bcrsifat cross sectional. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan : Berdasarlcan analisis teknik stanfive diketahui bahwa mayoritas responden (40,24 %) merasa cukup puas dengan suasana kerja di Rumah Sakit "Panti Waluyo" Surakarta. Dan i basil analisis korelasi Pearson diperoleh basil 5 komponen suasana kerja mempunyai korelasi yang signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja perawat di RS Panti Waluyo Suralcarta, satu komponen snasRirt kerja yaitu responsibility (tanggung jawab) tidak mempunyai korelasi yang signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja. Saran penelitian ini adalah perlu dilakukannya usaha-usaha untuk memperkecil kesenjangan keenam komponen suasana kerja tersebut sehingga dapat memperbesar kepuasan kerja perawat di RS Panti Waluyo Surakarta yang pada akhirnya akan meningkatkan produktivitas kerja.
