SIMULASI RANCANGAN SISTEM INFORMASI MANAJEMEN MENGENAI PERSEDIAAN BARANG DI DAYA PRIMA GRUP

Abstract

ABSTRAK CV Daya Prima adalah sebuah perusahaan distributor alat-alat kesailaWn dan iaboratorium yang berlokasi di Semarang, Jawa Tengah. Dengan enam perusahaan cabangnya, area kerjanya mencakup Jawa Tengah dan Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. Sistem inforrnasi yang digunakan sekarang ini adalah sistem manual, seperti manajemen persediaan, dan tersebar di banyak tempat. Hal ini menyebabkan kurang mampunya sistem untuk menghasilkan informasi yang akurat dan tepat waktu, khususnya mengenai persediaan barang, yang harus disajikan secara cepat untuk kepentingan konsumen. Masalah ini menuntun pada dua pertanyaan : (1) Apakah pedu penggantian sistem informasi manual menjadi sistem informasi baru yang berbasis pada sistem komputer, dan (2) jika diperlukan perggantian sistem, apakah penggantian sistem tersebut memenuhi kelayakan waktu dan finansial. Pertanyaan pertama dijawab oleh dua analisis. Analisis pertama adalah evaluasi mengenai keefektifan Stem dengan menggunakan faktor¬faktor decision performance, user satisfaction, dan system usage. Dan analisis pertama ini dihasilkan penilaian yang positif terhadap faktor-faktor tersebut, sehingga penggantian sistem dirasakan 'pet Analisa kedua adalah atiaiiSis deskriptif, dengan mendesain diagram alir sistem yang ban' beserta alat bantu lainnya yang mendukung desain sistem. Kedua analisis ini menjawab pertanyaan .pertama : penggantian Stem perlu diadakan. Pertanyaan kedua -dijawab oleh dua analisis. Analisis pertama adalah kelayakan waktu, dan didapatkan hasii bahwa waktu yang diperlukan untuk pengembangan sistem cukup layak. Analisa kedua adalah kelayakan linansial. Payback period adalab 15 bulan tatrUn. 3 bulan), ROI 75%, rasio manfaat-biaya adalah 1,746, dan NPV Rp. ,60.877.779,00 telah menjawab'frahwa pengembangan dan implementasi Stem informasi yang baru mamenuttkelayakan waktu dan finansial. Implikasi strategis dad pengembangan Sistem Informasi Manajemen Daya Prima adalah dengan mempertimbangkan Rental Stem, penggunaan sistem informasi, manajemen somber Maya manusia, dan keefektifan sistem baru tersebut. ABSTRACT CV Daya Prima is a distrbutor for medical and laboratories equiptment located in Semarang, Central Java. With six branches, its market including Central Java and Daerah lstimewa Yogyakarta. Today CV Daya Prima still does Information System such as inventory management manually and spread in numerous place. It result in an inaccurate and time-consuming information retrieval, especially when it comes to -itern in stock question, which has to .be answered quickly upon customer question. This problem has led to some question : (1) Is it necessary to change this manual information system to a new, automated computer-based information system, and (2) If it's necessary, is it feasible in case of time and financial. The first question was answered by two analyses. First analysis was effectiveness evaluation of the new system from some factors, such as decision performance, user satisfaction and system usage. From this first analysis, the I' esuit were all positive, an therefore the system conversion is worth enough to be performed. The second analysis was descriptive analysis, by designing flowcharts of the new system that will be implemented and the necessary equipment that will be needed to support it. These two analysis therefore answered the first question : changing the system is needed. The second question was answered by time and financial feasibility analysis. First anaiysis is time feasibility, and result suggested that the time needed was feasible. The second analysis was finansial feasibility. Payback period estimated at 15 months with RCM 75%, usage/cost ratio at 1.746 and NPV of Rp. 60,877,779.00 has answered that the development and implementation of the new information system management is worth to performed. The strategic implication of the development of CV Daya Prima's new MIS system is by considering the system control, the use of warehouse information system, and human resource management and the effectiveness of the new system itself
