Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan gambaran implementasi penanggulangan bahaya kebakaran di Grand Candi Hotel Semarang. Seiring dengan seringnya terjadi kasus - kasus kebakaran belakangan ini, maka peneliti tertarik untuk mengetahui bagaimana implementasi penanggulangan bahaya kebakaran di Grand Candi Hotel Semarang yang merupakan salah satu hotel berbintang lima dengan tingkat hunian tinggi mencapai 75 % setiap harinya. Studi ini merupakan studi deskriptif dengan menggunakan pendekatan observasional. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara dan observasi yang berhubungan dengan penanggulangan bahaya kebakaran dan membandingkan dengan Permenaker No.186/1999. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa fasilitas penanggulangan kebakaran yang ada di Grand Candi Hotel Semarang telah sesuai dengan standar Permenaker No.186/1999, sedangkan penerapan belum sesuai karena kurangnya kesadaran pihak manajemen tentang arti penting Keselamatan Kesehatan Kerja terutama usaha pencegahan dan penanggulangan kebakaran. Saran yang diberikan penulis bagi Gran Candi Hotel secepatnya dibentuk P2K3, melaksanakan pelaporan khusus hal - hal yang berkaitan dengan Keselamatan Kesehatan Kerja dan bila perlu dibentuk Departemen Keselamatan Kesehatan Kerja atau yang lebih dikenal dengan nama Safety Departement. Kata Kunci: Pencegahan, Penanggulangan Kebakaran, Hotel STUDY OF IMPLEMENTATION FIRE FIGHTHING AT GRAND CANDI HOTEL SEMARANG This research was held with an aim to obtain an overall overview about the implementation of fire fighthing at Grand Candi Hotel Semarang. By the run of time, we had hear many cases of fire, so researches wants to study Implementation fire fighthing at Grand Candi Hotel Semarang that was one of the five stars hotels in Semarang with rate 75 % guests everyday. This study is classified to be descriptive one with the observational approach. The data are obtained by doing interview and observation on secondary data related to fire fighthing handling and Permenaker No.186/1999. Meanwhile the implementation is not agreeable yet, because the management only has a litle awareness abour the importance of Occupational Safety and Health. The author may advise The Grand Candi Hotel to, immediately, form P2K3, to make special reports about issues related to Occupational Safety and Health, if it is necessary, to form a Occupational Safety and Health Departement, which is much more known as Safety Departement.
