Abstract

Abstract Privatization is a new model on managing public matters. It is based on the new public management approach, which perceives that government should not taking care of public matters since their performance is slow, weak, and contains of power abuse. Its proponents believe that privatization will bring many advantages to public: the quality of service and efficiency. In fact, privatization brings catastrophe towards public and government. Both of them are suffer and loss because of the private management. The case of water privatization brings the idea that privatization should be considered as the failure of the government in taking care of public matters. Keywords: Privatization, public, government.
