HUBUNGAN KARAKTERISTIK INDIVIDU DENGAN KINERJA PERAWAT DI INSTALASI RAWAT DARURAT RS. DR. SARDJITO YOGYAKARTA

Abstract

Karakteristik individu yang dianggap memiliki hubungan terhadap prestasi kerja antara lain : umur, jenis kelamin, status golongan, lama kerja dan pendidikan. Kinerja perawat adalah kegiatan yang dilaksanakan oleh perawat sebagai bagian dalam pencapaian tujuan dari keperawatan yaitu penerapan standar asuhan keperawatan itu sendiri yang meliputi pengkajian, diagnosa keperawatan, perencanaan, implementasi, evaluasi dan catatan keperawatan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran umum dari karakteristik individu (umur, jenis kelamin, pangkat/golongan, lama kerja dan pendidikan)dan gambaran umum kinerja perawat dalam menerapkan SAK serta untuk mengetahui hubungan antara karakteristik individu (umur, jenis kelamin, pangkat/golongan, lama kerja dan pendidikan)dengan kinerja perawat dalam menerapkan SAK di instalasi Rawat Darurat RS Dr Sardjito Yogyakarta. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Populasi penelitian seluruh tenaga perawat di Instalasi Rawat Darurat dengan sampel sebanyak 30 orang yang diambil dengan tehnik random sampling. Uji statistik yang digunakan uji chi square dengan program SPSS for window versi 10. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara umur dengan kinerja perawat dalam penerapan SAK (nilai p=0,036), terdapat hubungan antara golongan , tidak terdapat hubungan antara jenis kelamin dengan kinerja perawat dalam penerapan SAK (nilai p=0,850, tidak terdapak hubungan antara lama kerja dengan kinerja perawat dalam penerapan SAK (nilai p=0,161), dan tidak terdapat hubungan antara tingkat pendidikan dengan kinerja perawat dalam penerapan SAK (nilai p=0,272). Diperlukan penelitian lebih lanjut mengenai faktor-faktor lain yang dapat berhubungan dengan kinerja perawat dalam penerapan SAK dengan jumlah sampel yang lebih besar dan metode penelitian yang lebih baik. It consists of examining, nursing diagnosing, planning, implementation, evaluation and nursing note. The study was aimed at revealing a general description of the individual characteristics (age, sex, degree/grade, longtime of work and educational level), general description of nurse performance in applying the Nursing Care Standard and also revealing the relationship between individual characteristics (age, sex, degree/grade, longtime of work and educational level)and nurse performance in applying the Nursing Care Standard in Emergency Unit of Dr Sarjito Yogyakarta Hospital. The study was an analitic descriptive research using cross-sectional approach. The populations of the research were all of the nurses in Emergency Unit of Dr Sarjito Yogyakarta Hospital, the the samples were 30 nurses taken by a simple random technique. Statistical test was carried out by chi-square test with a Program of SPSS for Windows Version 10. The result of the study showed that there was a relationship between the age and the nurse performance in applying the Nursing Care Standard (with a value of p=0,036), there was a significant relationship between the degree/grade status and the nurse performance in applying the Nursing Care Standard (with a value of p=0,003), there was not a significant relationship between the longtime of work and the nurse performance in applying the Nursing Care Standard (with a value of p=0,161), and there was not a significant relationship between the educational level of work and the nurse performance in applying the Nursing Care Standard (with a value of p=0,272). It is necessary to carry out further studies about other factors that can reveal relationship among the the nurse performance in applying the Nursing Care Standard using larger number of population and better research method.
