Abstract
The design and realization of the plan line follower using Photodiode sensor with Atmega8535 microcontroller programming has been done . Line Follower Robot is a form of autonomous mobile robot which has a mission to follow a guide line which has been determined autonomously. The system consists of hardware and software. The hardware consists of Atmega8535 microcontroller, a series of photo diode sensors, a series DC motor driver IC L293D. Microcontroller software in this study made by using language C. This system works when pressed reset button on the microcontroller and microcontroller receives data from the photo diode sensors, the microcontroller will send data to a DC motor driver L293D. After sending data to a DC motor driver, microcontroller motion control system of DC motor. This system has been realized and can move toward a DC motor which has been determined from the input sensor photo diode. Motor will turn left then going right motor will spin while the motor dies and vice versa.
