fuel price have made us realize that the increasing energy consumption from year to year is not balance with the remain energy. This thing must be balanced with providing renewable alternative energy source, in great number and lower price so it can be used by people. Briquette was made from rice husks composition, sawdust, and grain of physic nut and were mixed with adhesive agent in the form of amylum gel. The aims of this research were knowing the best briquette composition (from the value of briquette combustion calor and the duration of combustion more than 800C) and knowing the influence adhesive variation (tapioca starch, rice flour, and glutinuous rice flour) in the best composition briquette to value of briquette combustion calor and duration of combustion more than 800C. Experimental method was used in this research. Briquette sample was burned and we gained the values between temperature with combustion briquette duration time. From these values some some graphics can be made which were calculation of combustion calor values, the influence of baking temperature to values of combustion calor and relationship between temperature with duration time of combustion in briquette composition, and calor values calculation grapichs and relationship between temperature with duration time of combustion in adhesive variation. From the result of this research the conclusions can be made which were the best sample in briquette composition was A sample= rice husks : sawdust of rubber wood : grain of physic nut : adhesive agent (gram)= 4 : 5 : 1 : 0,9 without baking because it had big combustion calor value (174,657 KJ) and duration of combustion was higher than 800C which was 19,5 minutes and the best sample in adhesive variation was the sample used adhesive variation amylum of glutinuous rice flour because it had big combustion calor values (920,880 KJ) and duration of combustion was higher than 800C which was 21,5 minutes.
