Abstract
This study aims to describe the use of multisensory methods for children with dyslexia and explain how it affects reading skills. The theory used in this research is psycholinguistic theory. Sources of data in this study were three children with dyslexia and one teacher of multisensory methods in the city of Bandung. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. Data collection was obtained through the listening method and the speaking method. Data analysis using the agih method. Presentation of data using formal and informal methods. The results obtained are the use of multisensory methods is applied through various stages with three use strategies, namely program continuity, systemic learning, and strategic learning approaches. The use of the multisensory method has been shown to have a significant impact on the reading ability and cognitive abilities of children with dyslexia with the prerequisite given when the child is a maximum of eight years old.
