NILAI MORAL DALAM FILM AMBU KARYA FARID DERMAWAN (KAJIAN SOSIOLOGI SASTRA)

Faculty of Cultural Sciences, Diponegoro University Semarang. Supervisor Dr. Ken Widyatwati, M.Hum. Film Ambu directed by Farid Dermawan. The Ambu film is a family drama film that tells the story of a mother and child who fight each other because the child leaves his mother. Several conflicts occurred until finally the mother and daughter forgave each other. The object of this research is the Ambu by Farid Dermawan. In comparison, the formal object is the analysis of moral values with a sociological approach to literature. The theory used in expressing moral values is the moral theory by Franz Magnis-Suseno. The results of the analysis of the Ambu show that there is an analysis of narrative elements (narrative relationships with space, narrative relationships with time, and main narrative elements) and moral values consisting of honesty, authentic values, willingness to take responsibility, moral independence, moral courage, and modesty.
