PERBANDINGAN STRUKTUR INTRINSIK NOVEL AKU TAHU KAPAN KAMU MATI KARYA ARUMI E DAN FILM AKU TAHU KAPAN KAMU MATI KARYA HADRAH DAENG RATU (KAJIAN SASTRA BANDINGAN)

Abstract

Aku Tahu Kapan Kamu Mati is a film by Hadrah Daeng Ratu which was adapted from the novel of the same title by Arumi E. Both novel and film told the story of a girl who has the ability to see signs of another person's death after she herself experiences near death. The author chose this topic because she wanted to know how much difference there was between the novel Aku Tahu Kapan Kamu Mati and its film adaptation. The transformation from the novel Aku Tahu Kapan Kamu Mati into a film form causes transformation, substitution, deletion, and addition. These aspects were analyzed through data obtained from the novel and film Aku Tahu Kapan Kamu Mati using a comparative literary study. The purpose of this research is to reveal a comparison of the intrinsic elements of the novel and film Aku Tahu Kapan Kamu Mati. This study uses the method of comparative literature to be able to find a comparison of the intrinsic elements of the novel and film being analyzed. The results of this study indicate that there are changes in the story, additions and omissions of events, changes and omissions of settings, as well as the replacement and omission of characters in the novel.
