Abstract
Max-Plus algebra denoted by is set where with maximum operation and addition operations . This undergraduated thesis is about how to determine and analyze the critical path of a project by using a network of Max-Plus Algebra. Network project is modeled as a weighted directed graph which is then expressed in a matrix on Max-Plus Algebra. Critical path analysis covering the initial the earliest start time and the latest completion time of each point or node and the floating time of each activity on the network. Project network dynamics modeled in the form of a system of linear equations Max-Plus algebra by determining the earliest start time and the latest completion time. The determinations were performed by adopting the forward calculation techniques and backward calculation techniques retreated as the PERT-CPM method, by using a Max-Plus Algebra. To facilitate the matrix calculation operations in MaxPlus Algebra use a software that MATLAB. Keywords: Max-Plus Algebra, Critical path, Network Project, trending weighted matrix, MATLAB.
