KARAGUL SAHIN APPROXIMATION IN DETERMINING TO OBTAIN INITIAL BASIC FEASIBLE SOLUTION OF TRANSPORTATION PROBLEMS

Abstract

Transportation problems are problems that related to the limited resources or capacity of the company that should be distributed to various destination and purposed to minimize the distribution cost of items and maximize the provit. The transportation problem is solved by two step, the first step is to find the initial feasibel solution and the second step is test the optimisation of the initial feasibel solution. The method of Karagul Sahin (KSAM) is a method for determining the initial feasibel solution of balanced or unbalanced transportation problems. These method in the determination of the initial feasibel solution using repeated methods consists of five steps.
