FORESTRY DECISION MAKING USING FUZZY VIKOR (VISEKRITERIJUMSKO KOMPROMISNO RANGIRANJE) – AHP (ANALYTICAL HIERARCHY PROCESS) METHOD

Abstract

Forestry the watershed is important not only preserve water supplies, but also contributes to the prevention of soil erosion. The use of fuzzy in decision making to accommodate quantitative and qualitative data. This Final Project discusses the fuzzy VIKOR-AHP method to make alternative forestry choices among watersheds in the city of Semarang with several aspects of assessment. Fuzzy AHP method can show how much influence each of the criteria in influencing the selection of forestation areas and obtained ranking of the criteria are soil erosion prevention criteria, criteria for cost savings criteria, land availability criteria, watershed preservation criteria, political acceptance criteria, and social acceptance criteria. While the Fuzzy VIKOR method can show the best alternative of the forestation area among the watersheds in the city of Semarang and obtained ranking of alternatives namely the Garang watershed, Babon watershed, Silandak watershed, Bringin watershed, and Karanganyar watershed. The application of Fuzzy VIKOR-AHP in this study shows that the Garang watershed as the best alternative as a forestation area in the city of Semarang.
