Abstract
Transportation problem is a particular problem in linear programs in which addressing the allocation of goods from sources to destinations at a minimal cost and effective allocation. In this Final Project, the author discusses the SupplyDemand Reparation Method and Continuous Allocation Method which is one of the methods to find an initial feasible solution to transportation problems. After numerical simulation using both methods and compared with the previous method such as NWC, LC and VAM, Supply-Demand Reparation Method (SDRM) and Continuous Allocation Method (CAM) showed the closest result to the optimum solution of each given transportation problem. Keywords: Transportation Problem, Initial Feasible Solution, Optimal Solution, SDRM, CAM, MODI.
