GANGGUAN BERBAHASA PENYEBAB KETIDAKJELASAN TUTURAN PADA ANAK PENDERITA DOWN SYNDROME DALAM MENGUCAPKAN KOSAKATA: STUDI KASUS DI SLB N SEMARANG (TINJAUAN PSIKOLINGUISTIK)

Abstract

This study aims to describe language disorders that cause speech obscurity for children with Down Syndrome in SLB N Semarang. The theory used in this study is psycholinguistic theory. The informants sample in the study consist of FB, AS, DA, RA, and AM. This study focused on language disorders that accompany the vagueness of down syndrome children's speech. This research is a qualitative descriptive study whose data source comes from interview data and secondary data sources. Data collection is done by observation and interview. Data analysis is done by identifying the characteristics and character of children with Down Syndrome and then adjusted to certain language disorders. The results showed that FB and AM had dysartria, AS and DA had oral apraxia language disorder, and RA as children with Specific Language Impairment (SLI) or special speech and language disorders.
