Analisis Pemakaian Onomatope dalam Webtoon The Secret of Angel (True Beauty) Episode 1 sampai 50

Abstract

This study aims to describe the form, meaning, and function of the onomatopoeia contained in the webtoon The Secret of Angel (True Beauty). The data used in this study were sourced from the webtoon The Secret of Angel (True Beauty) episodes 1 to 50 which was published in Indonesian. In order to collect the data, the writer uses listening method with Simak Libat Bebas Cakap (SLBC) technique followed by note-taking technique. The data are analyzed using padan referensial method with Pilah Unsur Penentu (PUP) technique to specify sentences that have a determining element as well as hubung banding menyamakan (HBS) technique as the advanced technique. The results showed that there were five classifications of onomatopoeic forms, each of which had a referential meaning and four classifications of onomatopoeic function.
