ANALISIS WACAN KRITIS NORMAN FAIRCLOUGH DALAM TALK SHOW MATA NAJWA “KONTROVERSI MAS MENTERI”

Abstract

Critical Discourse Analysis (CDA) is an analysis that aims to present an explanation of a text that has a certain meaning. The researcher uses CDA Fairclough to analyze the talk show Mata Najwa episode of Kontroversi Mas Minister. This study uses qualitative research with the equivalent method In this analysis, the researcher focuses on text analysis and discourse practice by looking at the speeches of Najwa Shibab, Erick Thohir, and Nadiem Makariem. In the text analysis section, the researcher found the relationship of representation, relation, and identity in talk shows. This research also focuses on the discourse practice section which presents interpretations in the Mata Najwa talk show. Interpretation relates to the view that you want to display. The views displayed in the Mata Najwa talk show are divided into three, namely the pro-society perspective and the neutral perspective displayed by Najwa Shibab, while the government's perspective is more displayed by the government itself.
