SUNTINGAN TEKS DAN ANALISIS PESAN MORAL DALAM NASKAH KESIMPANAN ADAT MINANGKABAU

Abstract

This study aims to determine the editing of texts and the form of moral messages in the Minangkabau Traditional Savings text. The object of this research is the Manuscript of the Minangkabau Customary Savings Book obtained by the author by means of a literature study in the catalog of the Indonesian National Library of Indonesia (PNRI) Manuscript collections. The catalog describes ML 432, Book of Customs and Laws, 25 pp., Latin Aks, Roll 424.07A. The author of the manuscript is not known and even the year of writing is not included in the text of the Minangkabau Traditional Savings Book. Qualitative research method using philological theory and content analysis. The results of the study indicate that this manuscript consists of four articles, namely the first article which is actually adat, namely the custom received from the Prophet Muhammad based on the Koran. The second article was adopted, namely the custom received from Datuk Katumenggungan and Datuk Perpatih Nan Sebatang. The third article Nan teradat, namely customs that are used in one luhak or in one country, and must be adapted to the conditions of the place or country. The fourth article is Customs, namely habits that have existed in domestic children since ancient times, for example connecting chickens and gambling. While the moral message in the KKAM script is that humans in life must always obey and worship their religion, namely Islam by avoiding Allah's prohibitions and obeying all Allah's commands according to what was taught by the prophet Muhammad SAW based on the guidelines in the Al-Quran.
