Abstract

Setiyarini, Diyah Ayu. 2021. "The Concept of Faith in the Second Chapter of the Book of Aqaid 50 and Sittin: Text Edits and Pragmatic Studies". Thesis (S1) Faculty of Cultural Sciences, Diponegoro University, Semarang. Lecturer Dr. Moh. Abdullah, M.A. and Drs. Moh Muzakka, M. Hum. The manuscript of the Book of Aqaid 50 and Sittin is one of the ancient books that contains matters of worship for Muslims. The need for research conducted on the Book of Aqaid 50 and Sittin based on the content of the manuscript, namely on the case of ablution and prayer, the case of Faith and the meaning of syahadatain, as well as the condition of the manuscript which is already apprehensive. In the study of the text of Kitab Aqaid 50 and Sittin (A50S), a study of the second chapter was conducted using philological research by applying a pragmatic approach to reveal the benefits of the content of the A50S text to its readers. The result of the research from the content analysis of the A50S Book in the second chapter is the content of the text that talks about the conception of faith. The conception of faith described by the author comes from Kyai Abu Laits Muhammad bin Abi Nasr bin Ibrahim Samarqandi which is presented in the form of questions and answers. The matters of faith contained in the text of the Book of Aqaid 50 and Sittin in the second chapter include: the understanding of faith and ways of believing in it, the case of the six pillars of faith, the nature of faith, the conditions of faith, the nature of faith, and the manifestation of faith. Then in the pragmatic reading in the second chapter of the Book of Aqaid 50 and Sittin found the value of faith in the form of the six elements of the pillars of faith.
