Literary works are born from the author. Therefore, literary works are closely related to humans and the social environment. This study aims to reveal the influence of the author's background on the work he creates. This study describes the fictional structure of the novel Faquella Girls 2 and the short story "Kisah Para Budak", which is then used to reveal the influence of the author's background on his work. This study uses the author's sociological theory approach, the structure of fiction, and comparative literature. The author's sociological theory is used to reveal the influence of the author's background on his work. The structural theory of fiction is used to analyze the intrinsic elements contained in the work of fiction under study. While comparative literature theory is used to compare the two literary works studied, is there a fundamental difference between the works the author created when he was a child and as an adult. The results of this study is there is an influence of the author's background on the leterary work he created when he was a child and as an adult. And there is also a difference between the work he created as a child and as an adult. The differences include the choice of theme and point of view in the story.
