Abstract

Adivisor Reny Wiyatasari, S.S., M.Hum. In this research, the writer discussed the Nagoya dialect and the equivalent in Japanese standard from a comic. This research aims to describe the forms of fukushi, keiyoushi, and jodoushi in Nagoya dialect and its equivalents to standard Japanese, as well as to describe the factors that influence the use of Nagoya dialect in that manga. The research data used came from manga obtained from electronic reading devices. The method used in this study is metode simak on data collection, then continued with metode padan on data analyze. The results of this study found that the dialect forms that appear in the manga are (1) fukushi which consists of manda, ippya, eryaa, and maa, (2) keiyoushi which consists of urusyaa, umyaa, tokkintokkin, chinchin, appappa, shabishabi, daadaa, kyunkyun, and kimoi, (3) jodoushi consisting of nyaa, toru, sen, myaa, yaa, nshai, oryasu, arasuka, shinde, and tokyaa. Furthermore, the factors that influence the use of the Nagoya dialect consist of group membership, age, and situation. Keywords: age, fukushi, jodoushi, group membership, keiyoushi, situation
