KRITIK SOSIAL TERHADAP PENYEBAB BUNUH DIRI DALAM FILM JUUNININ NO SHINITAI KODOMOTACHI KARYA YUKIHIKO TSUTSUMI KAJIAN SOSIOLOGI SASTRA 堤幸彦の『十二人の死にたい子どもたち』という映画における自殺の原因に対する社会批判：文学的の社会学の分析

Undergraduate Thesis, Japanese Language and Culture Study Program, Faculty of Humanities, Diponegoro University, Semarang. Advisor Fajria Noviana, S.S., M.Hum. This undergraduate thesis examines social criticism in the film using Japanese adolescent's film named Juuninin no Shinitai Kodomotachi that released in 2019. This film is giving the overview of adolescent's life problem from their point of view about suicide. The aims of this research are to explain narrative structure and to explain the social critics in the film Juuninin no Shinitai Kodomotachi based on adolescent's suicide problem. This research is conducted using library research with sociology of literature method and presented with descriptive qualitative. Narrative structure theory that written by Pratista is used to analyze the narrative structure. Durkheim's suicide theory is used to analyze the characters' suicide reasons as the foundation to social criticism analyzing. Furthermore, the film's social criticism is based on online news articles that related with Japanese society nowadays. As the results, there are four social critics that highlights adolescent's suicide reasons, they are: 1) domestic violence that affects children's psychological condition; 2) bullying at school; 3) exaggerating fanaticism towards idol; 4) misuse of internet as mass collecting media for suicide attempt.
