Abstract

ABSTRACT Kimi to Boku (君 と 僕, You and Me) is an anime adapted from the manga series by Hotta Kiichi, about four teenagers: Asaba Yuuki (CV: Kimura Ryohei), Asaba Yuuta (CV: Uchiyama Kouki), Matsuoka Shun (CV: Toyonaga Toshiyuki), and Tsukahara Kaname (CV: Ono Yuuki). This anime tells the story of the lives of adolescents while in high school (SMA) class. Their friendship is formed because this group loves each other even though they have different personalities or perspectives. Yūta and Yūki are known for being a bother to everyone but usually not meant to hurt, Shun with her elegant demeanor, Kaname with her hot temper, and Chizuru with her lovable side created this anime about adolescence. There are many moral values that can be taken from this friendship-themed anime. This study aims to analyze the moral values contained in the anime Kimi to Boku season 2. The author uses structural theory to analyze the building blocks and moral values contained in the anime. The Kimi to Boku season 2 anime by Kiichi Hotta has a mixed or back and forth plot. This anime consists of 13 episodes in which each episode mostly has a stand-alone story, aka not related to the episode before or after. The background story of the anime Kimi to Boku season 2 by Kiichi Hotta takes a different time and place for each episode. The time setting for this anime takes the morning, noon and night. While the setting of the place is school, Kaname's house, street, and supermarket. The results showed that the moral values in the anime Kimi to Boku season 2 by Kiichi Hotta concern human relationships with oneself, namely nostalgia, loneliness, and courtesy, human relations with others, namely helping others and respecting, and human relations. with God that is praying or asking God.
