Abstract

ABSTRACT Sari, Vindy Ripna 2021 Analysis of the Deixis of Place and Time in the Film 12 Suicidal Teens (Jyuuni Nin No Shinitai Kodomotachi)”. Essay. Department of Japanese Language and Culture, Faculty of Cultural Sciences, Diponegoro University. The Advisor : Reny Wiyatasari, S.S, M.Hum. The aim of this study is to describe the types of place and time deixis and to describe the form of deixis of place and time in the 12 suicidal teens film. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The data source used is the deixis of place and time in the 12 suicidal teens film. The data analysis method used is the Agih method and the direct element technique. Based on the analysis in this study, 13 data were found in the form of place deixis, namely: (kore) / (kono)/ (koko)'ini',それ(afternoon) / (soko)'itu', (ano) 'that',こんな (konna) 'like this', (sonna) 'that's like'. 8 data in the form of time deixis, namely: (saki) 'first'/ (maeni) 'before'/ (kinou) 'yesterday' (toki)'when', (kyō) 'today' / 今 ( ima) 'now'. 3 data on the form of place deixis omission, namely: (sono) 'that', (kokode) 'here', (sonna mono)'that's like that' and (kore)'this'. 3 data on the form of disappearance in time deixis, namely: (sakki) 'just now' and (kyō) 'today'.
