Abstract

Ozza Vajira Ainuna 2021. "Parents’ Expressive and Directive Actions for Persons with Autism for the Development of Social Interaction." Thesis (S1) Indonesian Literature. Faculty of Cultural Studies. Undip Semarang. Supervisor: Dr. M. Suryadi, M.Hum and Drs. Mujid F. Amin, M.Hum. Speech act is the smallest language unit. Policy actions by producing a speech will contain interconnected locus, illocution and perlocution. First, Japanese expressiveness, apologies, complaints and compassion. Expressive functions to express the application in accordance with the circumstances expected by the illocution. Second, directives give rise to acts of action, requesting and offering suggestions. This study aims to describe the expressive speech acts of parents who have children with disabilities and to describe the directive speech acts of parents who have children with autism. The theories used in this research are pragmatics and psycholinguistics. The methods used are interviews and interviews. The technique of presenting the results of data analysis in this study is informal presentation. Based on data analysis, expressive speech acts in the study found four types of expressive speech acts, namely speech acts of complaint, apologies, coming love and coming. In the research, there were three directive speech acts, including orders, orders and requests.
