DEIKSIS RUANG DALAM FILM KAZE TACHINU 「風立ちぬ」という映画における空間直示

Abstract

ABSTRACT Ma’aliya, Naila. 2021. “Spatial Deixis in Kaze Tachinu’s Movie”. Undergraduate Thesis. Department of Japanese Language and Culture, Faculty of Humanities, Diponegoro University. The Advisor: S.I Trahutami, S.S, M.Hum. The aim of this research is to describe the types of spatial deixis and to determine its uses in the movie “Kaze Tachinu”. The data used in this thesis were obtained from the Kaze Tachinu’s movie. The method used in the data collection was observation method and writing technique. Then, the data analysis method used is extralingual equivalent method. The results of the analysis is presented by informal method. Based on the analysis of the data, the result show that there are two types of spatial deixis, ninshou-gata (person oriented) and enkin-gata (distance oriented). The use of spatial deixis that is found is as deixis for general indication, place, direction, and condition. Keywords: deixis, spatial deixis.
