Abstract

ABSTRACT Widiyanti, Desinta Kurnia. “Contrastive Analysis Morphophonemic Process in Japanese and Indonesian Verbs.” The bachelor thesis of Japanese Language and Culture Education Program, Faculty of Humanities. Diponegoro University. Supervisor Lina Rosliana, S.S., M.Hum. The thesis analyzes the morphophonemic process that occurred both in Japanese verbs and Indonesian verbs. Morphophonemic is a study regarding the occurrence of phoneme changes due to the morphology process. Data study of Japanese language was obtained from websites. In contrast, Indonesian language data study was obtained from The Great Dictionary of the Indonesian Language online (KBBI) and the Dictionary of the Indonesian Language offline. The study aims to present the comparison of the morphophonemic process between Japanese and Indonesian languages. The data collection method used the sadap technique, and the analysis method used agih method, moreover on data analysis presented by the formal and informal method. The study result is the morphophonemic process in Japanese and Indonesian language has the same process in fuka with the emergence of phoneme, sakujo with phoneme exemption, and zero setsuji with phoneme perpetuation. The morphophonemic distinction in the Japanese language intransitive verbs and transitive verbs sustain the morphophonemic process regularly in pairs whilst in the Indonesian language tends to form a basic correlation with the particle. The next distinction is process in juufuku and yuuugou where there is no similar process with the Indonesian theory. Keywords: keitaionsotekisousa, morphophonemic, phoneme.
