METAFORA DALAM LAGU JEPANG YANG BERTEMAKAN CINTA TAHUN 2019 (KAJIAN SEMANTIK) 2019年恋愛曲における日本語の隠喩 「意味論」

Abstract

ABSTRACT An Nisaa, Elan. 2020 “Metaphor of Japanese Love Song in 2019”. Thesis, Departement of Language and Culture, Faculty of Humanities, Diponegoro University. Advisor S.I. Trahutami, S.S.,M.Hum. The research aims is to describe the type and the meaning of metaphor from love song. This is a descriptive qualitative study using the metaphor theory by Stephen Ullmann (2007) and Knowless and Moon (2006). The data used in this research are from 10 love songs in 2019. The data was collected through the observation method and writing technique, then the data were analyzed using agih method and Bagi Unsur Langsung technique. The results of this research concludes 10 love songs have 4 data of anthropomorphic metaphors, 7 data of animal metaphors, 11 data of abstract metaphors, and 4 data of synesthetic metaphor. Beside that, in analyzed the meaning of metaphor used three components, vehicle, topic, and ground, the metaphorical meanings were found in all data and had a relation with lexical meaning.
