Abstract
Kata kunci: Evodia suaveolens, ekstrak daun zodia, larvasida, Aedes aegypti, Meteseh Background: In some regions in Indonesia there are indications that Aedes aegypti Linnaeus larvae have tolerated temepos. Zodia (Evodia suaveolens Blume) is one of the plants that have potential as an insecticide and larvicide. Objective: This study aims to prove zodia leaf extract has the ability as Aedes aegypti Linnaeus larvicide in laboratory experiments and application in semi-field applications. Method: The posttest only control design is used for larvacide test in the laboratory experimental and semi-field application, while the posttest only nonequivalent control group design is used for the lethal ovitrap test in the semi-field application. The sample in the larvicide test was Aedes aegypti Linnaeus instar III susceptible strain, whereas in lethal ovitrap test the semi-field application stage was a house contained RT 1 RW 3 of Meteseh Village. Different test of intergroup larval mortality using Kruskall Wallis when the larvaside test is in the laboratory experimental phase and the semi application stage in the field. Different test for the presence of intergroup larvae using Fisher's exact during the lethal ovitrap test in the semi-field application stage. Results: There was a difference in mortality of instar III Aedes aegypti Linnaeus larvae between groups during the larvaside test in the laboratory experiment stage and in the semi-field application stage (p: 0.001), but there were no differences in the presence of larvae in the intergroup group during the ovitrap lethal test in the field of field application (p: 0.235). Conclusion: Zodia leaf extract has the ability as larvicide at the stage of laboratory experiments and semi-field applications, but does not yet have the ability as an ovitrap lethal at the semi stage of field applications.
