Abstract

Penggunaan lahan dataran pantai dan dataran rendah di Kota Semarang didominasi oleh permukiman. Dampak negatif dari permukiman dan urbanisasi terhadap menurunnya kualitas air tanah salah satunya adalah oleh polutan nitrat. Dalam menjaga keberlangsungan air tanah untuk waktu jangka panjang maka diperlukan kajian khusus untuk kuantitas dan kualitasnya, salah satu upaya dalam menjaga potensi dan kualitas air tanah adalah dilakukan dengan cara mengkaji kerentanan air tanah terhadap pencemar yaitu nitrat. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode Susceptibility Index. Dari hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa kerentanan airtanah intrinsik terdiri atas tiga kelas yaitu kelas kerentanan rendah (37-47), kerentanan sedang (47-59) dan kerentanan tinggi (59-68). Kerentanan airtanah spesifik kerentanan rendah (41-53), kerentanan sedang (53-71) dan kerentanan tinggi (71-90). Berdasarkan hasil validasi peta kerentanan dengan sebaran nitrat dapat diketahui bahwa keakuratan penilaiaan kerentanan airtanah intrinsic dan spesifik diperoleh nilai 20%, dari 30 sampel air sumur diperoleh 6 sampel uji nitrat yang sesuai dengan penilaian kerentanan intrinsik dan spesifik airtanah terhadap pencemaran, sedangkan keakuratan penilaiaan resiko kerentanan airtanah diperoleh nilai 30%, dari 30 sampel air sumur diperoleh 9 sampel uji nitrat yang sesuai dengan peta resiko kerentanan airtanah terhadap pencemaran. Dari ketiga nilai tersebut tergolong rendah untuk uji akurasi model namun ketiga peta tersebut juga telah dapat menunjukkan kondisi Hidrogeologi dataran alluvial Kota Semarang sudah masuk pada kondisi yang tidak bagus dan dianggap sudah tidak dapat menampung beban pencemar meskipun pada hasil uji nitrat masih tergolong rendah. In maintaining the sustainability of groundwater for a long term period, a special study of the quantity and quality is needed, one of the efforts in maintaining the potential and quality of ground water is carried out by assessing the vulnerability of ground water to pollutants, nitrate. The method used in this study is the Susceptibility Index method. From the results of the study found that intrinsic groundwater vulnerability consists of three classes, namely low vulnerability class (37-47), moderate vulnerability (47-59) and high vulnerability (59-68). Groundwater vulnerability is low (41-53), moderate (53-71) and high (71-90). Based on the results of the validation of the vulnerability map with the distribution of nitrates it can be seen that the accuracy of intrinsic and specific groundwater vulnerability assessment is obtained a value of 20%, from 30 well water samples obtained 6 nitrate test samples which are in accordance with the assessment of intrinsic and specific groundwater vulnerability to pollution, while the accuracy of assessment of vulnerability risk groundwater values obtained 30%, from 30 well water samples 9 nitrate test samples were obtained in accordance with groundwater risk vulnerability maps for pollution. Of the three values, it is classified as low for the accuracy test of the model, but the three maps have also been able to show the Hydrogeological conditions of the alluvial plain of Semarang City, which are already in a bad condition and are considered to be unable to accommodate the pollutant load even though the nitrate test results are still relatively low.
