Abstract

Luas hutan berkurang 13.907,30 Ha (-14,15%), sementara luas kawasan pertanian meningkat 11.261,66 Ha (11,46%). Kata kunci : perubahan penggunaan lahan, DAS Serayu hulu, SIG, erosi Serayu Watershed is one of the largest watersheds in Central Java Province with an area of 372.439,93 hectares and an upstream area of 98.276,19 hectares. The population growth and efforts to improve quality of life has increased the pressure on upstream areas, especially related to agricultural area. It affect the rate of erosion and land criticality. In this study, an attempt has been made to analyze of land use change of upstream Serayu Watersheds over the last 10 years using multispectral satellite data obtained from Landsat 5 TM for 19 October 2009 and Sentinel 2A for 1 July 2019. Then analyze how the influence of land use changes on erosion and land criticality. The land rehabilitation strategy is determined by a SWOT analysis. The land use change analysis indicate a significant shift from Forest (vegetation) into Agricultural. The Forest area decreased by 13.907,30 Ha (-14,15%), while Agricultural increased by 11.261,66 Ha (11,46%). The effect of land use change on erosion rate is shown by the increase of erosion rate in the heavy erosion zone (180-480 tons/ha/year) by 9.406,93 Ha (9,57%), while at very low erosion zone rates (<15 tons/ha/year) decreased by 9.721,88 Ha (-9,89%). The analysis of land criticality is divided into three areas : the protected forest area, the agricultural cultivation area and the protected area outside the forest area. In the protected forest areas, the biggest decrease in critical level occurred in the rather critical zone (271-360) by 105,10 Ha (-2,87%) while the largest increase occurred in the very critical zone (<180) by 46,39 Ha (1,26%). In the agricultural cultivation area, the most critical level increase occurred in the critical land zone (201-275) of 1.766,14 Ha (3,30%), while the biggest decrease occurred in the critical potential zone (351-425) by 2.414,51 Ha (-4,51%). In the protected areas outside the forest area, the greatest increase in land criticality occurred in the very critical land zone (<200) of 2.756,28 Ha (8,07%), while the largest decrease occurred in the potentially critical land zone (351-4250 ) amounting to 1.891,40 hectares (-5,54%). Overall land criticality in the upstream Serayu watershed region has increased in the critical zone (2.326,36 Ha) and the very critical zone (3.477,93 Ha). While the biggest decrease occurred in the potential critical zone (4.178.81 Ha. These conditions indicate that the influence of land use changes in the upstream Serayu Watershed has an impact on increasing land criticality. The SWOT analysis show that the land rehabilitation strategy that is suitable in this area is a diversification strategy, it is shown from the results of the analysis which is in quadrant II (0.09; -0.13).
