Abstract
Kota Semarang sebagai Ibu Kota Jawa Tengah mempunyai perkembangan perdagangan, pariwisata, industri dan pendidikan yang sangat pesat serta pertambahan penduduk yang semakin meningkat membuat kebutuhan akan air semakin lama semakin bertambah. Eksploitasi air tanah yang berlebihan dan pembuangan limbah yang tidak terencana menyebabkan penurunan kualitas air tanah. Tujuаn penelitiаn ini adalah mengаnаlisis kualitas air tanah, faktor yang mempengaruhi penurunan kualitas air tanah serta menggambarkan sebaran air tanah dan cemaran air tanah di Kota Semarang. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif meliputi analisis deskriptif, Principal Component Analysis (PCA), Hierarchial Clustering Analysis (HCA) dan Ordinary Kriging. Penelitian dilakukan di wilayah pesisir Kota Semarang dengan tiga puluh sampel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sebagian besar air tanah di wilayah pesisir Kota Semarang tidak memenuhi standar kualitas baku mutu air minum. Dari analisis PCA dan HCA didapatkan tiga fakor yang mempengaruhi kualitas air tanah yaitu faktor intrusi air laut, faktor kependudukan, dan faktor industri. Sebaran konsentrasi CaCO3, Mg2+, Na+ dan Cl- mempunyaikonsentrasi paling tinggi berada di bagian timur wilayah penelitian yaitu Kecamatan Genuk semakin ke arah barat wilayah penelitian konsentrasinya semakin kecil. Sebaran lokasi sampel menunjukkan bahwa penurunan kualitas air tanah di Kecamatan Genuk merupakan dampak dari intrusi air laut sedangkan yang lain dipengaruhi oleh kependudukan. It causes them needing more water. Excessive groundwater consumption and poorly planned waste cause digression of groundwater quality. This research aims to analyze groundwater quality, its digressive influential factors, and description of groundwater and its pollution distribution in Semarang. This method used descriptive quantitative covering descriptive analysis, Principal Component Analysis (PCA), Hierarchical Clustering Analysis (HCA) and Ordinary Kriging. This research was done in Semarang by with thirty samples. The findings showed most of groundwater there did not meet the standard requirement of drinkable water. PCA and HCA analysis showed three influential factors, such as oceanic nutrition, inhabitant, and industry. The distribution of CaCO3, Mg2+, Na+ and Cl- concentrations were known highest in eastern side of the city, exactly in Genuk district. Meanwhile, the western side had lower concentrations. The distribution of the sample location showed digression of groundwater quality in Genuk District which was impacts of oceanic intrusion.
