A true concept of "bad and good" is one that has existed since the dawn of human. Both concepts allude to the culture of a society that is opposites to one another through the figure of angel as its intermediary. The research material object is the novel My Idiot Brother (2011) by Agnes Davonar. The study uses qualitative methods with several different stages of a research ranging from literature collection, data processing stages for processing primary and secondary data, and the presentation of data by using sequential theories, structural fiction, and literary sociology. The results of structural analysis such as person and character, grooves and flow, and Settings are useful to describe the intrinsic elements in Agnes Davonar’s novel My Idiot Brother. At the same time, the sociology analysis of literature is useful in assesating all social aspects of "bad and good" figure of Angel from the moral, ethical, religious, economic, educational, and social aspects of culture.
