Thesis, Japanese Language and Culture, Faculty of Humanities, Diponegoro University. Supervisor Dr. Drs. M. Suryadi, M.Hum. & Maharani Patria Ratna, S.S., M.Hum. This study has purpose to describe a change in use of personal pronoun based on Japanese male language. This study collected data from song lyrics by Porno Graffitti. The method that used for analysis data is method of intralingual equivalent by Mahsun. The analysis starts from describing the variety of male languages used each period. From the use of various male languages period then look for changes in the use of each period. From there later can be determined what factors influence the choice of language variety. It was found that there was a change in the use of pronouns in the variety of male languages in song lyrics viewed period by period. It can be seen that there is an increase in the number of variations in the use of the pronouns in the variety of male languages in the song lyrics of Porno Graffitti each period. In addition, the longer there is a tendency to use various personal pronouns of Japanese male language who have the impression of being more crude, wiser and more strict compared to the initial period.
