SUFIKS –BU, –TAI, DAN –DAN DALAM BAHASA JEPANG 日本語における接尾辞「－部、－隊、－団」

ABSTRACT Hananya, Bernice. 2020. “Sufiks –Bu, –Tai, dan –Dan Dalam Bahasa Jepang”. Thesis. Department of Japanese Language and Culture, Faculty of Humanities, Diponegoro University. The advisor: Lina Rosliana, S.S., M.Hum. The research aims is to describe the structure and meaning of the meaningful suffix of groups –bu, –tai, and –dan in Japanese. And also aims to describe the possible suffixes –bu –tai and –dan can be substituted. The data used in this research were obtained from printed dictionaries, various websites and other online news article in Japanese. The data was collected through the observation method and writing technique. The method that been used in this research is a descriptive – qualitative method. Then the data were analyzed using the agih method. The results of the analysis are presented using formal and informal methods. The results of the analysis show that the suffixes –bu, –tai, and –dan have the same meaning, namely in groups, but are used differently. The suffixes –bu, –tai, and –dan are attached to the noun word class. The suffixes –bu, –tai, and –dan can be attached to the types of words kango and gairaigo. The suffix –bu denotes a part of a larger part. Suffix –tai refers to a group that tends to have a specific goal. The suffix –dan refers to an organized group performed simultaneously.
