Abstract

ABSTRACT Maulinda, Nindy. 2020. “Interjection and Perlokutionary of Directive Sentences in Japanese DramaKoinaka”. Undergraduate Thesis, Japanese Language and Culture Department, Faculty of Humanities, Diponegoro University. Thesis advisor Reny Wiyatasari, S.S., M. Hum. This paper discusses about “Interjection and Perlokutionary of Directive Sentences in Japanese DramaKoinaka”. The purpose of this research are to describe kinds of kandoushi (interjection) and perlokusioner that can be found in directive sentences. The author uses the method of recording to obtained data, then analyzing data using extralingual equivalent method.The last was presenting data using informal method. As the result of the research, it is found that there are four kinds of kandoushi (interjection) such as kandoushi kandou, yobikake, outou, and aisatsugo.This shows that the characters in the Koinaka drama are very expressive in telling something.Because directive speech acts are speech to make an influence so that the speech partner performs the actions desired by the speaker, kandoushi yobikake is most often used to attract the attention of the speech partner.Also found 10 kinds of perlocutionary verb, such as convincing verb, confusing verb, annoying verb, relieve tension verb, irritate verb, attract attension verb,bore verb, frighten verb, persuade verb and laugh verb.
