The Effect of Farmer Behavior Toward Crystal Jambu Productivity In Farmer Groups at Semarang City

Abstract

The productivity of crystal guava is affected by the behavior (knowledge, attitudes and skills) of farmers. The research aim to 1) analyze behavior of crystal guava’s farmers 2) analyzing productivities level of guava crystals 3) analyzeing affect of farmers' behavior on the crystals guava’s productivities in the Guava Farmers Group in Semarang City. Research was began on 10 December 2018 to 27 January 2019. Research have been done in 3 locations, Cepoko Village Gunungpati Sub District, Bubakan Village Mijen Sub District, Wates Village Ngaliyan Sub District. Research was used census method. Data were collected by interviews with questionnaires and observations. Data were analyzed with descriptively and multiple linear regression analysis. The research results are 1) farmers knowledge’s level are iin high category, farmers attitude’s level are in medium category, farmers skills are in medium category. 2) crystal guava’s productivities level with yield indicators are high, capital are medium, and labor are low. 3) farmer's behavior had significant affect to productivity in simultaneously.
