Abstract

This study aims to analyze the income of palm sugar farmers in the Srikandi Women's Farmers Group and analyze the factors affecting the income of palm sugar farmers. The location was determined purposively based on the consideration that the farmer group became a pioneer producing palm sugar established since 2012 and Candimulyo District has the potential of One Village One Product-based palm sugar products in the area of Magelang Regency. The study was conducted from 17 November to 15 December 2019. The research method used was a case study. The number of respondents was 33 crafters of ant sugar. Data collection was carried out by interview, observation and literature study. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis with independent variables including the amount of additional material (X1), labor use (X2), production (X3) and fuel costs (X4) on the dependent variable namely income (Y). The results showed that the average income of ant sugar crafters was Rp. 14,942.27 / production / day. The results of the multiple linear regression analysis equation are the factors of the amount of additives, labor use, production and fuel costs simultaneously affecting the income of palm sugar farmers. Partially the use of labor, production and fuel costs affect income, while the factor of the amount of additional material has no effect. A coefficient of determination of 95.3% means that the amount of additives, labor use, production and fuel costs can explain income, while 4.7% is explained by other variables.
