Abstract

Penggaron Kidul is one of the villages in Pedurungan that has paddy fields around Slaughterhouse (RPH) which causes paddy fields to be polluted by waste and making rice productivity not optimal. This research aims to analyse the effect of factors of production on the amount of rice production, analyse the level of use of factors of production and analyse the economic efficiency comparison of the use of factors of production in polluted paddy fields and unpolluted slaughterhouse. This research method uses survey methods with interviews using a questionnaire to members of the Farmer Group Dharma Tani. The sampling method used is proportionate stratified random sampling that uses 2 populations with a total of 80 people so that number of samples is 66 respondents divided into 33 respondents landowners polluted with waste and 33 respondents landowners who were not polluted with waste. The data analysis method used is a linear regression analysis method, analysis of Independent Sample T-test and analysis of technical efficiency and economic efficiency and tested using analysis One Sample T-test. The result showed that the use of land area, labor and dummy variable of location significantly affected the amount of rice production while the factors of seed, fertilizer and pesticides did not significantly affect the amount of rice production. Factor of production area of fertilizer and labor in polluted land are no different from uncontaminated paddy fields while the factor of seed and pesticides in polluted waste are different from uncontaminated paddy fields which was factor production of seeds and pesticides in waste polluted paddy field greater than uncontaminated paddy fields. The use of factor production of land area, seeds, fertilizers, pesticides and labor is not technically and economic efficient. Efficiency economic of factor production in waste polluted paddy fields is different from uncontaminated paddy fields which was factor production in uncontaminated paddy fields is more efficient than waste polluted paddy fields. Keywords: efficiency, factors of production, rice production.
