KRITIK SOSIAL PADA LIRIK LAGU KARYA .Feast (Kajian Sosiologi Sastra)

Abstract

The objects of this research material are the lyrics of the song "Peradaban", "Berita Kehilangan", and "Tarian Penghancur Raya" by .Feast. The purpose of this study is to describe the structure of .Feast’s lyrics and the social criticism contained within. Roman Ingarden's theory was used in this study to analyze the structure of .Feast’s lyrics. This research was also conducted using the theory of literary sociology to analyze social criticism contained in the song lyrics by .Feast. The results of this study show that the song lyrics by .Feast act as a medium for conveying criticism of social realities that occur in society. In the lyrics of the song "Peradaban", criticism is expressed over radical movements, discriminatory attitudes, and intolerance that occur between religious communities that are rife in Indonesia. The lyrics of the song "Berita Kehilangan" contain criticism of the perpetrators of murder due to the loss of human values that have ruled out common sense. The lyrics to the song "Tarian Penghancur Raya" contain criticisms of pollution and environmental damage, as well as a ban on the implementation of Indonesian local wisdom.
