Pengaruh Penggunaan Tepung Silase Limbah Pengolahan Udang dalam Ransum Burung Puyuh Jantan terhadap Performans dan Produksi Karkas

Abstract

Abstract The aim of this research was to study the effect of shrimp processing waste product silage (SPWPS) in the ration of male quail on performance and carcass production, which conducted at Laboratories of Poultry Science, Animal Husbandry Faculty, Diponegoro University, Semarang. Materials were 200 threeweeks of age of male quail, with initial body weight on each quail was 27.75 ± 2.72 gram, rise to six-weeks of age. The ration were formulated by iso energy and iso protein level (24% protein, 3100 kkal/kg diet), and the treatments were T0 (without SPWPS), T1 (2.50% SPWPS), T2 (5% SPWPS), T3 (7.50% SPWPS) and T4 (10% SPWPS). Each treatment was using 4 replication and 10 male quail of its. Data parameter of performance and carcass production was analyzed by ANOVA method base on Completely Randomized Design (CRD). Result showed that the use of 7.50% SPWPS in the ration was not significance different among treatment (P>0.05) in feed consumption body weight, feed conversion ratio and carcass percentage. The use of 10% SPWPS in the ration was not significance different in feed consumption and carcass percentage, but it showed that the body weight and feed conversion ratio was decreased (P,0.05) Key Words : Male quail, SPWPS, Performance, Carcass
