KRITIK SOSIAL DALAM LIRIK LAGU “BUKAN MAUKU” DAN “MONSTER” KARYA CAPTAIN JACK

Abstract

The focus of this research is the social criticism contained in the lyrics of the songs "Bukan Mauku" and "Monster" which includes; first, knowing the contents of both song lyrics; second, social criticism of discrimination against people with disabilities; third, is how the relationship between social criticism in the two song lyrics with the actual social reality. The results of this research are social criticism in the lyrics of the song "Bukan Mauku" and "Monster". These social criticisms are (1) criticism of the parenting style of children with disabilities, (2) criticism of discrimination of persons with disabilities from the community and (3) the surrounding environment, and criticism of the lack of fulfillment of justice, rights, and opportunities of persons with disabilities.
