PUITIKA LIRIK LAGU “MONOKROM”, “RUANG SENDIRI”, “LANGIT ABU-ABU”, DAN “TUKAR JIWA” PADA ALBUM MONOKROM KARYA TULUS (Sebuah Kajian Stilistika)

Muzakka, M. Hum ,. and Khothibul Umam, S.S., M. Hum. The language in song lyrics in the album Monokrom by Tulus, is different from the songs in Indonesia. The language used by the creator makes the song when heard feels very foreign, so that ordinary people will think that the song has no purpose. However, if infused with this song, it has a deep meaning and is based on the creator's personal experience, Tulus. The writer chooses material objects in the form of the lyrics to the song "Monokrom", "Ruang Sendiri", "Langit Abu-abu", and "Tukar Jiwa", the song occupies the highest charts on Monokrom albums by Tulus on his Spotify account. The method used in research is a qualitative method. The data collection stage uses literature study. The purpose of this thesis writing is able to express the style of language and meaning contained based on the lyrics of the song "Monokrom", "Ruang Sendiri", "Langit Abu-abu", and "Tukar Jiwa"" in the albums Monokrom by Tulus with a stylistic approach. Based on the results of the analysis in the songs "Monokrom", "Ruang Sendiri", "Langit Abu-abu", and "Tukar Jiwa” Monokrom albums by Tulus, it can be concluded that the physical structure contains diction in the form of connotative and denotative meanings of empty, private, symbolic forms and specifically and there are forms and versions. The inner structure of Tulus song lyrics contains lyrics that contain themes of love, memories, and disappointment. Tulus song lyrics contain a mandate in the form of advice and motivation addressed to the listener.The language styles used in the song's analasis are simple language styles, noble and powerful language styles, and intermediate language style.
