Abstract

Diponegoro University Faculty of Public Health Master’s Program in Public Health Majoring in Health Policy Administration Sub Majoring in Maternal and Child Health Management 2018 ABSTRACT Joko Satrio Evaluation Of Interest For Utilization Of The Ambulance Hebat (Si Cepat) Semarang Program On Independent Practice Of Midwifes In 2018 xv + 86 pages + 16 tables + 3 enclosures Ambulance Hebat (si cepat) is a program from the Semarang’s government city to deal with medical emergency cases, traffic accidents and neonatal maternal emergencies. In 2017, the utilization of the Ambulance Hebat (si cepat) program for neonatal matenal cases has reached the lowest rank. Data obtained from the Semarang City Health Office, the case of maternal deaths in the city of Semarang was mostly caused by emergency cases such as pre-eclampsia, eclampsia, bleeding and other emergencies. Based on the location of the death, most occurred in the hospital, with a death time of fewer than 48 hours at the hospital. The main problem in hospital referral is allegedly caused by delays in handling emergency conditions. The purpose of this research is to evaluate the interest in utilizing the Ambulance Hebat (si cepat) program for independence practice of midwives as internal consumers who have been acting as first-rate health facilities in managing neonatal maternal health. The research type is quantitative research supported by in-depth interviews at program implementers. The study population was all independent midwives practicing in Semarang. Sampling in the study used probability sampling with the proportionate random sampling technique and obtained respondents as many as 90 people through the Issac and Michael table. Testing was done by Chi-Square test to investigate the relationship between independent variable and dependent variable with the level of significance p-value ≤0.05. Based on Chi-Square test, all independent variables are significantly related to dependent variables: the Need variable (p = 0.024), Quality Perception (p = 0.000), and Estimated Response Time (p = 0.018). Keywords: Ambulance, emergency, maternal neonatal, interest, quality, health services, response time, midwife Literature: 72
