Komunikasi Krisis Pemerintah Daerah Kabupaten Nagekeo (Kasus Resistensi Masyarakat Terdampak Terhadap Rencana Pembangunan Bendungan Lambo)

Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out the meaning of the resistance and the application of crisis communication strategy conducted by the Government of Nagekeo Regency. In the theory level, the problems in this study are examined using attribution theory and situational crisis communication theory. The informants in this study involved elements of local government, policy stakeholders and grassroot comunity The results of this study indicate that affected communities and local governments have different interpretations of various resistances that hamper the socialization process of the Lambo dam development plan. This difference tends to be influenced by the attribution of each element to each communication event involving the government and the community. In responding to various resistance efforts undertaken by the community, the government developed dialogical and personal communication as a strategy to overcome this crisis situation.
