Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this study was to analyze the production factors of land area, labor, number of seeds, chemical fertilizers, and manure that affect the production of red curly chili farming in Sumowono District, Semarang Regency. The study was conducted in the villages of Kebonagung, Candigaron, Jubelan and Losari, Sumowono District, Semarang Regency in July-December 2018. The research was conducted using survey method, it is taking 96 samples. Data were analyzed using a one-sample t-test and multiple linear regression test using SPSS 17 software. The average production yield of red curly chili in the Sumowono District was 1.172,094 kg per one planting period. Simultaneously the factors of land area, labor, number of seeds, chemical fertilizer and manure have a significant effect on the production of curly red chili in the Sumowono District. Partially the number of seeds, chemical fertilizers and manure significantly affected the production of red curly chili, while the area of land area and labor did not significantly affect the production of red curly chili.
