The result of this study is to present how Yotsuba could learn through playing, categorized into five aspects of development: health, human relationship, environment, language, and expression. The representations that are found in this manga, give clear examples of toddlers’ behavior and how do they learn through play. Moreover, there are also examples of parents or the educator’s role in early education to help toddlers grow better. Keywords: manga, toddlers, early education
