KETIDAKADILAN GENDER DALAM DRAMA MONDAI NO ARU RESUTORAN KAJIAN FEMINISME ドラマ『問題のあるレストラン』におけるフェミニズム的アプローチ によるジェンダーの不平等

Abstract

ABSTRACT Apriliani, Wita Cynthia, 2019. “Gender Inequality in the Drama Mondai no Aru Resutoran「問題のあるレストラン」,Feminism Approach”, Thesis,, Thesis, Japanese Language and Culture, Faculty of Humanities, Diponegoro University, Semarang. The first advisor is Fajira Noviana, S.S., M.Hum., and Dewi Saraswati Sakariah,S.S.,M.Si. as second advisor. The purpose of this research is to describe gender inequality against women in Japan that exists in the drama entitledMondai no Aru Restaurant. The method of the data collection is by library research. The theories that used to analyze are feminism dan narrative structure theory. The narrative structure is used to analyze thebasic elements of narrative, setting, place, and time elements. Meanwhile, Feminism Theory is used to analyze gender inequality against women in Japan that exists in this drama. The result of this study is there are 5 forms of gender inequality that are against by Japanese women, that is stereotypes, subordination, marginalization, workload, and violence. Gender inequality in this drama is faced by five female figure. Namely, Tanaka Tamako, Kawana Airi, Nita Yumi, Kyouko Morimura, and Fujimura Satsuki. All the form of gender equality that against by five female figure caused by patriarchy which existed in Japan society. Keyword: Drama Mondai no Aru Restaurant, Gender Inequality, Gender, and Feminism
